Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro is a celebrated seaside resort in the Central Algarve, distinguished by its incredibly picturesque setting within a maze of high, sculped limestone cliffs. Unlike the long, sprawling beaches found elsewhere, Carvoeiro is characterized by its cozy, sheltered cove.

The town's structure is steeply terraced; its houses and businesses climb the hillsides surrounding the small central beach, giving the town a unique, amphittheater-like shaped focused entirely on the water.
