Guillena
Guillena is an Andalucía town located at the geographical transition point between the flat plains of the Guadalquivir and the hills of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla. Historically, this location gained importance due to its position on the Vía de la Plata, the ancient Roman road and pilgrimage route. The town's main civic space is dominated by the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Granada. Guillena functions as a key service point for the surrounding agricultural countryside and is notable for its large annual religious procession (Romería) to the nearby Virgen de la Granada hermitage.
