La Roda de Andalucía

La Roda de Andalucía is an agricultural town situated in the province of Seville, near the junction of the Málaga and Córdoba borders. Its historical significance stems from its position on major Roman routes and, more recently, from its role as a key railway crossing point connecting central and southern Andalucía. The municipality's economic foundation rests overwhelmingly on the cultivation of olives and cereals, making the surrounding countryside a vast expanse of productive farmland. The urban section features the central Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de la Roda, serving as the main religous point for the population.
