Luz de Tavira

Luz de Tavira is a traditional Portuguese town situated in the Eastern Algarve, part of the Tavira municipality. This location benefits from its position immediately adjacent to the Ria Formosa Natural Park, an extensive system of lagoons and barrier islands. The town serves as an agricultural and service point for the surrounding countryside, which historically included the significant production of salt from nearby salt pans.
