Marmelete

Marmelete is a traditional Portuguese parish situated high in the Serra de Monchique, on the western edge of the Algarve region. This elevated location is defined by its forested landscape of cork oak and eucalyptus, specializing in the trade of cork, honey, and the distillation of medronho brandy from arbutus berries.
