Moncarapacho
Moncarapacho is a traditional Portuguese town situated in the Eastern Algarve, within the Olhão municipality. Its location occupies the Barrocal section, the transitional area known for its highly productive agricultura land. The town's economy is based on the cultivation of citrus fruit, olives, and carob, maintaining a long tradition in the olive industry. Though slightly inland, its close proximity to the Ria Formosa wetlands and the coast defines its geographical position. The central square and main church structure serve as the historical point for the community.
