Odeleite
Odeleite is a small Portuguese town situated inland in the Casto Marim municipality, deep within the Serra do Caldeirão mountain section of the Eastern Algarve. The location is strongly defined by the Odeleite River and the large reservoir created by its dam. The river is internationally known for a natural meander that, when viewed from an elevated position, forms the recognizable outline of a coiled dragon. This geographical feature has earned it the nickname, the "Blue Dragon River". The town's economy relies on small-scale agriculture and forestry activities in the surrounding rural area.
