Torres de la Reina
Torres de la Reina is a Spanish town and municipality located in the Vega del Guadalquivir region of Andalucía, in the Seville province. The location occupies a flat, fertile plain historically associated with the main route leading to the provincial capital. The town's name (meaning "Towers of the Queen") refers to the ancient defensive structures that once marked its historical position. Today, Torres de la Reina functions primarily as an agricultural and service center. Its economy is based on the surrounding extensive cultivation of cereals and olives, typical of the fertile Guadalquivir valley. The area provides both residential support for local farm workers and serves as a commuter point due to its proximity to Seville.
